Create Your Remedy
I was created to create. So are You!
Who are you without your story?
I was created to create. So are You!
Create {kree-eyt}
- to bring something into existence, invent, make something new
- to pursue or be engaged in a creative activity
🌟 is to CREATE! 🌟
The most surprising therapeutic or wellness activity that has made its way into my life - one that I used to think was a luxury due to time constraints, minimal finances, limiting beliefs about my lack of creativity skills AND have now realised it actually is the best remedy to all challenges of life.
Create something, anything, use your hands, your mind, your body, your emotions, your voice,
- it doesn't matter along as you are creating something from You.
Creating brings about something deep within that no other activity, bio-hack or healing method can do.
The beautiful thing is - that whatever you create, no matter how good you are at it - it is your perfect remedy for whatever ails you in life at any given time!
This remedy brings you back to your Self.

I have my own journey that I'll happily share with you how I came across this useful insight and it has allowed me to see where I was constricted and constrained in life and my ways of being. Using my new found joy to create along with my journey of learning about self-development, psychotherapy, spirituality, working with my own tribe of healers and helpers has helped me on my pathway to acknowledge new insights and let go of so much that I was holding onto that no longer served my best interests to say YES to Life!
We don't have to buy or have 'things' in order to create - this unfortunately is a misconception that many of us believe. There are abundant resources everywhere in our environment - it may require you to shift how you 'see' resources, things, items or the space between the material objects. There are many inspiring creators that began with nothing and created. They created and created until they also realised that creating is healing, connecting, therapeutic, insightful, joyful, fulfilling and more.
It's not just about creating something that then you have a material object as the result to show another. It's more than having a certain skill to turn something into something else. It may be inspired by yourself, another, an experience, a feeling, a thought, a belief, imagination, a dream, a desire or more.
Creating is doing whatever it is that genuinely comes from you - because you want to.
If you haven't created for some time, think back to when you had moments as a child and you 'made something up' for the fun of it, a game, drew a picture, played with siblings or friends - this was all the primal inclination to create from Self. This part of us is still within, maybe hidden or forgotten - let's bring it out to play.
If you don't know where to start with creating, here are a few ideas of what you can create. Start small, keep going.
happiness | kindness | new thoughts | new experiences | friends | music | arts | crafts
sounds | fun | joy | space | organisation playfulness | connection | poem
song | recipe | energy | ideas | story
designs | templates | sketch
systems | improvements | boundaries structure | peace | time | community | health games | beauty | freedom
Notice within yourself, your relationship/ reaction/response to what 'create' means for you.
What is your definition of create?
Where did you get your definition from?
Could you change/expand/refine your definition?
Who told you what create means or doesn't mean?
Is your definition correct?
What would it be like if you could create what you wanted?
Noticing your inner responses (willingness, excitement, resistance, collapse) can offer you an invitation into parts of yourself that you may want to connect with more and inquire into what your relationship is to creating more of what you want for your life.
What is holding you back from creating your day or the life that you want?
Can you look into your past to connect with images of moments, experiences, desires of where you wanted to create something and did or didn't get around to it?
Can you look into your future to connect with ideas, desires of what you may want to create and what would it take to bring it into existence?
How does this feel for you, what images come up, what thoughts arise when you think of these moments?
